Devil Mountain Expeditions

So that sucked – I had to bail on my night ride tonight.  Combo of work, traffic, brother in law being in town, helping out with the kids…basically the perfect storm.

In the meantime, I took a trip down memory lane.  May 2007 – I take a preggo Sandra, we hop in the car and drive to Arizona.  Super fun trip – stayed in Sedona for a week.  Golf, booze, food…and a couple rides.  Thanks to the guys at the Sedona Bike & Bean shop for the guidance.  Don’t even remember what trails I rode – Broken Arrow sounds familiar.  But they were sweet, rocky, up/down, vista inspiring rides – even some slickrock here and there.  I want to go back…

Skate or die

Well, fsck me … another day I sit on my ass. Shoulder is killing me, weather is dreary. One of those weekends … shoulder was feeling better last week, dunno what I did to it in the interim … but it wasn’t the four holes of golf I managed to play last week since it didn’t start hurting again until yesterday.

Would like to get out and ride–body not cooperating … yeah, that’s the story of my life the last year or so. To top it off, I’m between jobs and have all the time in the world right now. Murphy is a slut.
